As some of you know I used to blog regularly on myspace. I’ve decided that I will from now on call this my home. Changes in scenery often times infuse folks with more creativity and thats what I hope this will do. This particular post was inspired by several folks on twitter and I figured was a good way to re introduce myself to the interweb. In the event that I turn into a supervillian, please break the below glass and use at your discretion. Thanks and welcome.
- I am obviously a pisces
- I share a birthday with Nicolas Copernicus, interestly enough we both have had broken noses
- I have worked in the social service sector for app. 13 years now focusing at different points on homelessness, mental illness, and substance abuse. You know the fun topics
- I live in the Boston area having traveled around for about ten years up and down the east coast and South America
- I work for the a hospital in Boston which is the leading trauma center in New England. If you have a drug problem and you’ve been shot come talk to me.
- I take black and white photos ….alot
- I go to the comic shop once a week. Fav. writers: Brian K. Vaughn, Bendis, Grant Morrison, and Brad Meltzer.
- I have cats, one of which has begun the bad habit of punching me in the balls when I am asleep.
- I constantly hum one tune or another, and I click pens, I’m that guy.
- I write alot. Everywhere..on my computer, post-its, notebooks, scraps of paper. Someday I will collect all of it and publish a stream of conscience book over a thousand pages long. It will be my opus.
- I am somewhat addicted to social networking sites, evidently I am a teenage girl.
- I am very interested in mysticsm, esoterica, and spirituality.
- I feel stuck out of time sometimes. I should be wearing a fedora and walking around in the 1950’s
- Role models include: Ze Frank, Gandhi, and Superman
- The best novel I’ve read is A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by David Eggers.
- Frank Capra is my own personal cinematic Jesus
- If Joss Whedon help write or create it I will blindly follow

- R.E.M. could put out an album of them reciting the alphabet and I still would buy it.
- I am a devout follower of podcasts, every blue moon I publish my own. If your not listening to iFanboy, Radiolab, and Slate’s Political podcast you are missing out
- I make mom jokes and still find them funny
- In fact I start laughing at my own jokes many times and usually it ends with people calling me an asshole
- Other role models: Che, my father, and Josh Lyman
- My fear is that I will let people down that depend on me.
- My ambition is not to be the guy in charge. Its to be the guy that the guy in charge listens to.

no sir, brainworks will be back. Just not on a weekly basis. Work life interfered with that aspect of ‘net life.
